MISSION STATEMENT

The mission of the House of Colours is to offer a safe, happy and stimulating environment within an international setting. The Nursery team are committed to developing the whole child through a well planned and “hand” on exciting curriculum. The staff will endeavor to promote confident, independent learners who will be well prepared for the challenges of the future.

Curriculum

EYFS

Children develop quickly in the early years and a child’s experiences between birth and five years have a major impact on their future life chances. The House of Colours Nursery team is committed to setting the standards for “Learning and Development” “Assessment” and “Child Protection” for children from birth to four years plus. There are 7 areas of Learning and Development with 17 goals, all areas are important and interconnected. 3 areas are particularly crucial for children’s curiosity and enthusiasm for learning and for building their capacity to learn, form relationships and develop. These 3 areas are the PRIME AREAS. Child care providers must also support in 4 SPECIFIC AREAS to strengthen the 3 PRIME AREAS.
