About Nursery

AKES is an agency of the Aga Khan Development Network (AKDN). It is one of the largest private educational networks in the developing world currently operating over 200 schools and educational programmes across Pakistan, India, Bangladesh, Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Madagascar, Afghanistan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and the United Arab Emirates.

Whilst each of the Aga Khan Schools complies with the National Curriculum of individual countries, the Service enriches the curriculum with various teaching methodologies that emphasize student-centred learning. Some of the Aga Khan Schools in East Africa and Bangladesh follow the British IGCSE and IB (International Baccalaureate) curricula.
